Ministries

Sunday School - We currently have 16 Bible study groups meeting weekly, with classes designed to serve and engage across all age groups.  

 

Discipleship Training - Our training groups meet on Sunday night and offer in-depth, life application studies of God's Word and Biblical principles.

 

Girls in Action (GA's) - GA's meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm and include girls 1st grade through 6th grade.  http://www.wmu.com/ga

 

Royal Ambassadors (RA's) - RA's meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm and include boys 1st grade through 6th grade.  http://www.wmu.com/ra

 

Mission Friends - Mission Friends is a preschool program designed to teach our preschoolers about God's love for all people. http://www.wmu.com/missionfriends

 

Youth & Children's Ministry - Our teenagers and children gather regularly to form a close bond of Christian fellowship while serving God in the local church.

 

Silver Eagles - The Silver Eagles program is aimed at building relationships and enhancing fellowship among our senior adults.  The Silver Eagles form a cohesive group that is welcoming to all and serve as spiritual mentors to younger members.

 












School Snack Ministry - Volunteers at our church help to provide daily snacks to local underprivileged schoolchildren to help show them the love of Christ.

 

Community Outreach - Our leaders and members seek to minister in the community through various ways.  This can include prayer, outreach, evangelism, and benevolence.  Vacation Bible School is held every summer for one week to share the good news of Jesus with the little ones of our community in a fun and exciting atmosphere. 

 

Home and Foreign Missions - DGBC supports missionaries in the US and all across the globe through the SBC Cooperative Program.  http://www.sbc.net/cp/ .  Additionally, many of our church members participate in missions projects in various locations to help bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the world.
